Interpreter Open Days
Applied Language recently won a number of large contracts to
supply interpreters to various public sector organisations based in
the north west of England. To help fulfil these contracts, we would
like to enlist your help as an approved interpreter for these
organisations. We would seek to use your skills and experience on a
wide range of assignments, providing interpreting services to these
public sector organisations when required.
To enable us to use you as an interpreter for these public
sector organisations, we would need to see you and have a
discussion about your qualifications and experience. Once we have
successfully completed this we can issue you with an Applied
Language Interpreter ID badge and start to provide you with
interpreting assignments.
We would therefore like to invite you to come along to one of
our Interpreter Open Days which are being held on Friday 22nd and
Friday 29th of May.
We will need you to bring along the following:
- Up to date, original enhanced CRB certificate so we are able to
carry out portability checks
- Evidence of qualifications/certifications/references
- Two valid forms of identification (one must be a valid
passport)
- Up to date copy of your CV (electronic or print)
- National Insurance Number
What to expect:
There's no need to book a place, just turn up on any of the
above-mentioned days between the hours of 9am and 4pm (last
appointment will be at 4pm). It may be busy at times so please be
patient if there is a short wait. Providing everything goes to plan
and you supply all the documentation requested, including CRB
check, you will be issued with an ID card and we will start using
you on upcoming assignments. Being issued with an ID card will
require you to have your photo taken during your time with us.
Just for your reference, please click here to see the guidelines
that we as a company follow with regards to taking photos for our
ID cards.
