The role:
The DTP Operator’s role will primarily involve typesetting translated documents into a number of languages. Typesetting and graphic design experience is essential. You will also perform an internal design work where needed, so we would welcome people with a design flare.
Main Responsibilities:
- Communicating with Project Account Managers and Customers when needed
- Dealing with multiple typesetting tasks at the same time
- Internal design tasks and publishing activities
- Following defined rules and procedures
Requirements:
- Hands on experience with at least one of the following DTP packages: Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign and Quark Express is essential
- Experience with the latest MAC OS9 and OSX and ability to perform DTP work and MAC fonts
- Excellent English written and spoken
- Excellent computer literacy and internet knowledge
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills, ability to listen people
- Self-driven, result-oriented team player
