Which way should your Hebrew translation read?

Hebrew is one of the world's oldest languages, spoken and written today in much the same way as it was more than two thousand years ago. After ceasing to exist as a spoken language about 250 B.C., it was reborn as a modern language in the 19th century, and today it is the principal language of the State of Israel.

Hebrew gradually came into use among the Jewish settlers in Palestine and became the official language of the State of Israel when that nation was created in 1948. Today about 3 million people speak Hebrew either as their maternal, adopted, or religious tongue.

Things to consider when translating Hebrew to English

Hebrew text expansion and contraction

Because Hebrew is a character based language it can vary wildly depending on the content of your original document. Documents translated from English into Hebrew can expand anywhere between 20 and 60%. And Hebrew to English translations will contract somewhere between 10 and 55% of course this depends on the subject of your text.

Getting something as seemingly insignificant as this wrong will make a huge difference to the success or failure of your Hebrew Translation project. All our staff are highly experienced in handling Hebrew translations so you can be sure help you deliver a high quality Hebrew translation.
