Press Release
Peddling to Paris
On July 25th Clive Morris from Huddersfield sets of on an epic bike ride 600 miles from Kingston on Thames to Paris to raise money for Action Medical Research.
Applied Language Solutions, a Huddersfield based language services company, are proud to be sponsoring Clive on this massive undertaking.
Clive said “I’ve been practicing by riding 60 miles each weekend and know I’m ready to begin the journey. I can’t wait to see the Eifel Tower looming in the distance when we reach Paris. Action Medical Research played a crucial role in developing the polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, hip replacement surgery and a lot more. So all the money I’m raising is for a very worthwhile cause.”
“We’re more than glad to be sponsoring Clive on his journey.” Said Sales Director, Richard Stangroom. “Applied Language are always striving to give back to the local community as much as possible. We’re currently organising a sponsored walk to take place in August from Meltham to Saddleworth to raise funds for a Barnardo’s project in Huddersfield.”
