Applied Language Expand with new Chicago office
As part of Applied Language Solutions ongoing strategy to globally expand, this month they celebrate the opening of their second US office, in Chicago.
Applied Language Solutions, one of the world's leading providers of Translation services, has announced the opening of a new office in Chicago, USA. The increased global demand for the Company's Translation and Interpreting services along with the large volume of sales over the past twelve months has resulted in the company’s further US expansion.
Chief Executive, Gavin Wheeldon has high hopes for the new office. He said, “In today's business world, more and more companies are realising that communicating in their customer's language is pivotal to their success in the global trading arena.”
He continued, “The opening of the new Chicago office will provide crucial support to Applied Language's global sales and will greatly strengthen our position as an International language services provider.”
The Translation and Interpretation Company delivers a consistently high quality personal and corporate Translation service into over 150 languages. Applied Language was set up in October 2003 by entrepreneur Gavin Wheeldon. Over the last 4 years it has grown from a one-man operation into a multi-million Global Company with a 90-strong team.
The office in Chicago is now the ninth Applied Language office opened since it was first set up. With now 9 offices in Huddersfield, California, Paris, Barcelona, Sofia, Guatemala City, Hong Kong, Chicago and Chennai, the Translation Company has experienced great expansion at a phenomenal rate.

Our Head of Sales, Richard Stangroom has played an instrumental role in that commitment, while spending October and November out working with the new and existing teams. Roy Tell, the US Sales Manager has also been working with them in Chicago and we are all extremely happy with the progress that has been made.”
Applied Language Solutions provide Interpreting services as well as translating all kinds of documents from simple letters to large technical documents for specialist Medical, Legal, Financial and Marketing organisations, including whole websites and printed catalogues. They have won major contracts for Yahoo, Google, Nike, United Nations and 60 NHS Bodies.
