Tigrigna Language

Tigrigna (also spelt Tigrinya or Tigrina) is one of the three languages originating from Ge’ez. It has its own characters and alphabet, is written from left to right, and is spoken widely in Eritrea and northern areas of Ethiopia, particularly in Tigray province. Although the people of these two countries both speak Tigrigna, there are some regional differences in accent and pronunciation. Along with Arabic, Tigrigna is an official language of Eritrea.
